Interpretation / Description

Padmasambhava, Teachers and Deities.

The inscription on the reverse of the painting was composed by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo for the Government Minister Tashi Dondrub who commissioned the painting as a support for his personal religious practice. It is most likely that the hand prints on the reverse are those of Khyentse Wangpo as well. (See other handprints of Khyentse Wangpo).
