Interpretation / Description

Pankaja, Mahasiddha.

Art Represented in Art: in front of a shrine, the siddha Pankaja, for twelve years, offers a flower to an image of Avalokiteshvara believing it to be an image of Mahadeva (Shiva). Nagarjuna, also depicted in the narrative scene corrects Pankaja and sets him on the correct course of practice.
