Interpretation / Description

Heruka, Krodha (Tibetan: trag tung, drag po. English: Wrathful Blood-drinker). Dark blue in colour with three faces and six hands, embracing the consort; he stands surrounded by the orange and red flames of pristine awareness. A host of retinue figures encircle at the edges of the flame. At the top center is the Buddha Amitabha with lineage figures seated to the right and left.
