Interpretation / Description

Shakyamuni Buddha (Tibetan: sha kya tu pa, sang gye. English: Sage of the Shakya Clan, the Enlightened One). At the top are various Buddha and lama figures (with inscriptions). Along the bottom are the protector Shadbhuja Mahakala, the teacher Padmasambhava and Green Tara.
