Interpretation / Description

Sakya Lama: with the two hands holding a book at the heart, he wears monastic robes and a Sakya hat with the lappets folded over the crown.

At the top center is the deity Samputa with Guhyasamaja Manjuvajra at the left and Chakrasamvara of the Krishnapa lineage on the right.

At the middle left is Guhyasamaja Akshobhyavajra and on the right the form of Mahakala known as 'Gonpo Tagshon' - the Tiger Riding Lord.

At the bottom left and center are the two principal protectors for the Vajrakila cycle of tantra - Gauri and Marajit. At the bottom right is the worldly protectress Tseringma.
