From the photo archive collection of the new Shechen Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal, various paintings of buddhas, deities and portraits of famous and unidentified teachers are exhibited.

The majority of the Shechen Archive photographs of paintings were taken by Matthieu Ricard during his many trips to Tibet and the Himalayan regions. The sets of initiation cards and the cards of the Rinchen Terdzo were photographed and scanned by the Shechen Archives team.
