The images in this gallery are all Terma 'Revealed Treasure' representations of Padmasambhava. For the most part the figures follow the basic appearance of the main form of Padmasambhava. There are some variations where he might appear as a monk with a pandita hat or old the hands in non-standard gestures with non-standard attibutes such as a katvanga staff or kila. The Meditational Deity forms of Padmasambhava are differentiated from the Terma forms based only on appearance. Here Meditational Deities are figures that look completely different from the typical appearance of Padmasambhava. Examples of deities are Guru Dragpo, Sambhogakaya Five Family Skull Garland, Simhamukha and others.
