Garu Pandita Lobzang Sherab (d.1764) was both a religious teacher and artist associated with the town of Rebkong in Amdo and specifically with the Nyentog Monastery. A single chapel in the monastery contains murals on three walls and the ceiling attributed to Garu Pandita. A number of scrollwork paintings in the Rebkong area and the Rubin Museum of Art have also been attributed to the artist who flourished in the 18th century.
