Buddhist Deity: Chakrasamvara, Shatchakravarti

Chakrasamvara Iconography | Complex Multi-Mandalas

The Seventy-one (71) Deity Shatchakravarti Samvara Mandala from the Tantrarajasrilaghusambara-nama and Abhidhana-uttaratantra-nama [Toh 368, 369]. (GDK 75, page 133).

The central mandala and deity is Vajrasattva (white) with Dharmadhatu Ishvari and accompanied by eight attendant figures.

The eastern mandala deity is Buddhadaka (white) with Gauri Dakini and accompanied by four attendant figures.

The southern mandala and deity is Vajra Surya Ratna (yellow) with Pita Dakini and accompanied by four attendant figures.

The south-western mandala and deity is Padma Narteshvara (red) with Padma Dakini and accompanied by four attendant figures.

The north-western mandala and deity is Heruka Vajra Daka (blue) with Vajra Dakini and accompanied by four attendant figures.

The northern mandala and deity is Vishva Hayagriva (rta mchog, Parama Ashva) with Vishva Dakini and accompanied by four attendant figures.
