The set of Blue Beryl Medical paintings, designed by Desi Sanggye Gyatso, contain three different compositions depicting trees. The three paintings serve as the contents, outline, and map for the entire contents and artistic depictions of the medical treatise. It is interesting to note how the different artists over the past 300 years have made subtle changes and differences in the depiction without altering the overall meaning.
