Interpretation / Description

Shri Vishuddha Heruka.: from the set of 'Eight Entrustments' of Mahayoga Tantra of the Nyingma tradition.

Wrathful in appearance with three faces and six hands, he embraces the consort with the first pair. Large wings are unfurled behind and orange and red flames of pristine awareness spread outward in a circle. Attendant figures with various types of faces surround the central deity.
