Interpretation / Description

Vajravarahi Seventeen Deity Mandala from the Abhidhana Uttaratantra-nama [Toh 369].

Vajravarahi, red in colour, has three faces and six arms. The consort is Vajra Heruka, blue in colour, with one face and two arms. There are eight principal secondary figures, four gate keepers and four corner figures.
