Dalai Lama Incarnation Painting Sets

This set depicts the same long pre-incarnation list of the Dalai Lamas as Dalai Lama Incarnations (Lhasa). Based on the abundance of stylistic similarities it can be shown that it was painted by the same artist as well. However we can also determine that this is most likely a separate set because there are two of the thirty five Confession Buddhas at the top and two of the 21 Taras of the Atisha system at the bottom of two of the paintings. This iconographic system differs from the previous set. The paintings are housed in the Potala Palace collection
