Interpretation / Description

Siddha Rajnyi (Drubpa’i Gyalmo) belonging to a seven or nine composition painting set depicting the Eighty-four Mahasiddhas according to the Vajrasana system of enumeration. The series of red ground compositions is loosely based on the famous Drugpa Kagyu Mahasiddha set from Khampa Gar. (See painting HAR #3314433).

Siddha Rajnyi has a number of initiation lineages such as red and white Amitayus, Jinasagara Avalokiteshvara and Hayagriva with one face and two arms.
