A gallery for Yuan Style Art specifically of the Araniko School has been added.

Araniko is primarily remembered for his architectural achievements and for the creation of sculptural objects. A painting of the Emperor and Empress are attributed to him. The two known remaining works generally agreed upon are the White Stupa in Beijing and the Stupa at Wutaishan Mountain.

A Chinese Language Translation for the Rakta Yamari textile (HAR #57041) has been added and linked to the appropriate related pages.

This textile composition of Rakta Yamari was made either as a set or a series of works created in the workshops of the Yongle Emperor most likely between 1416 and 1418. The other known works from the same time and atelier are a Chakrasamvara, Vajrabhairava and Panjara Mahakala.

The Kundeling Incarnation Lineage Page has been update with additional information.

These paintings depict both a central figure and architecture. None of the central figures are positively identified and not all of the architecture and cityscapes have been identified. The subjects of these paintings are a mystery.

These Two Mandala Compositions belong to a twelve painting set depicting all of the mandala subjects of the Sarvadurgati Parishodhana Tantra.

A page containing all of the Nartang block prints depicting the Incarnation Lineage of the Dalai Lamas has been added. Some of the works are painted directly atop a block outline printed on cloth, others are traced and some appear to be free hand following the original Nartang composition set.

A very late set of paintings possibly circa 1900 depicting the History of Tibet also with a special emphasis on highlighting the architectural icons and achievements of the past 1500 years.

The historical Shakyamuni Buddha is sometimes depicted as a child in sculptural representations. These depictions are generally based on the iconography found in Tibetan paintings of the Buddha's life story where the child immediately after birth takes seven steps in each of the ten directions (see a painted example - upper right corner).

A page highlighting Rare and Unusual Forms of Manjushri has been added. The majority are meditational deities (ishtadevata) with detailed textual descriptions of the iconography - mostly originating in the Namasangiti and Siddhaikavira Tantras. Others are narrative based depictions with Manjushri seated in a variety of relaxed poses.
